OPRY FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When does the Shreveport Opry happen?

Every third Thursday of the month. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Where is the Shreveport Opry?

The Shreveport Opry takes place at the historic Woman's Department Club in Shreveport, LA (802 Margaret Place).

Can my business sponsor the Shreveport Opry?

Yes. Please email info@shreveportopry.com for more information.

I bought VIP or Premium tickets, what comes with that?

Each event is different. Please refer to the ticketing event page on PurplePass.com for exact details of what is included.

I can't get the ticketing website to work. What other options do I have?

Some browsers may experience problems. We recommend Google Chrome for those experiencing issues on other browsers. Not every show listed on our website necessarily has tickets on sale yet. If tickets are on sale on PurplePass.com, you can purchase tickets via phone for a small extra convenience fee by calling PurplePass at 1-800-316-8559 (option 1). You may also purchase tickets at the door if available. We strongly recommend getting your tickets in advance for much quicker check-in to the event.

What can I expect when I attend the Shreveport Opry?

Prepare to see a celebration of music. For about the first hour, a showcase of 3-4 regional up and coming performers will be playing. After a brief intermission, the headlining performer will play. At the conclusion of the concert, there are opportunities for certain ticket holders to interact with showcase performers and learn more about their music and merchandise. We hope you'll support these aspiring artists when you get the chance.

How can I get text alerts about upcoming events?

From your phone, text the word "Opry" to 318-504-6779 (OPRY) to be enrolled.

My ticket includes "open bar", what does that mean?

You have full access to the bar at no extra charge for the entirety of the event. The bar is stocked with many of the most popular brands. The bar will limit the number of drinks you can access at one time. It is not permitted to pass drinks to those who do not have open bar access at the event and will result in your being removed from the event without exception.

What are your covid policies?

We respect your position on Covid, but ours is simple. If you are fearful of your safety due to Covid, we cannot guarantee you will not get it here. Attendance is a risk.
